My name is Myrna Copeland. I have taken care of my pets
or others my whole life long. I'm now retired from teaching and have been pet sitting professionally since March of 2001.
My
pet family consists of 6 rescued dogs : Lance, Lil-Lady, Drifter, Scamp, Biddy and my latest Zeta.
Each has its own special story which I will add to this site at a later time.
I am a member of the National Association
of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) and Pet Sitters International (PSI). These are the two largest professional organizations
in the industry. They continually help me grow professionally through their literature, message boards, and activities.
I am currently NAPPS Certified which means I have
studied and passed a certification exam on Home Veterinary Care for Dogs and Cats. I'm very proud of that certification. I'm
also bonded, insured, and a member of the Better Business Bureau.
I take care of dogs and cats primarily, but I have also taken
care of rats, hamsters, and fresh water aquariums. Most of my clients have multiple pets.
